HexClad Pan — Worth the Premium? After 2 Months I Have Thoughts
I spent $180 on a single 10-inch pan. My old T-fal was peeling after 8 months. HexClad has that hex pattern for stainless searing plus nonstick convenience. It's heavy at 2.5 lbs, my wrist was sore the first week. Cooking performance is genuinely great — eggs slide off, got restaurant-quality steak crust. Goes stovetop to oven at 425°F no issues. Cleanup is easy. The price is hard to justify, $180 for one pan. It stains with golden discoloration after a month. Handle gets warm on high heat. I use it daily and love cooking with it. Would buy again but wait for a sale.
